Coming To Sacramento With A Bang!

Next Friday, September 2nd, 2011, to kickoff the Labor Day Weekend, AK Promotions will be bringing yet another exciting edition of IKF Muay Thai Kickboxing Championship fights!

These events have become popular for the fight fans as they cram into venues across the Bay Area. Next week's event will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Sacramento across from the Arden Fair Mall.

The Grand Ballroom will be packed with enthusiast fight fans to witness what is one of the best contact sports in the world! Fighters use their boxing and kicking techniques as well as knees to score on their opponent and some fights allow use of elbows in all standup action!

Local Sacramento native Jon "The Hawk" Pryor who holds the IKF World Title in his division will be defending his title against tough Damien Early who has only had one loss in 13 bouts. Early is from Arizona.

IKF United State Super Heavyweight Champion Xavier "Sagat" Vigney of Pleasant Hill will also be defending his IKF title against big, tough Matt King of Dublin, CA.

Ed Abosolo or Vallejo and current IKF West Coast Champion will be stepping up for the vacant IKF United States Title in the Light Middleweight division against his toughest challenge to date, Armin Safiari, an international undefeated top contender.

IKF California Super Welterweight Champion Jesus Sosa of San Leandro, California will be going for the vacant IKF West Coast Super Lightweight title against experienced challenger Eric Luna of San Jose, California.

The fight card is scheduled to have 14 exciting bouts with four of them being for state, west coast, national and as mentioned earlier, a world title defense. This is one of the most competitive and complete cards ever in the Sacramento, California area and ticket sells are showing signs of a possible sell-out crowd which will give the fighters the type of crowd they deserve!
This Las Vegas style event complete with alcoholic beverages, beautiful ring girls, great music and food will be a big bang and boost to Sactown's entertainment scene!
The fights are under the authority of the California Athletic Commission and sanctioned by the International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) the leading sanctioning body in the world for the sport of kickboxing. AK Promotions next event will be at the Oakland Convention Center at the Marriott in Oakland, California on October 8th.
