between now and the event. The High Registration is
244. However several have had to drop out due to
injury, work, scheduling, finances and other reasons. This is expected as it has
always happened every year in the National Tournament. To see who has pulled or

To This Year's IKF
USA Nationals!
A major part of any successful organization is
Marketing. Marketing will make or break you. One great person once said "Some
business won't advertise their location, what they sell and, or services they
offer until their "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!" The IKF has a lot of great things in store in the near
future! We want all of you to help us continue our growth by wearing
IKF Gear to
the IKF Nationals this year. Wear your caps and
Tee shirts! Last year's champions can wear their IKF/
Ringside "Champion" Windbreakers (red
jackets).
As you come through the airports, stop at gas stations etc.,
your IKF Gear
makes for great marketing for the event, for you as a trainer, a fighter,
official, as well as, makes for great conversation! Also, being that the event
is for three days, you can purchase IKF Gear at the IKF
Nationals and wear it throughout the weekend and on your return home. In
addition to wearing the gear, remember to say IKF
Kickboxing as oppose to just Kickboxing. Name association is vital to our
growth for TV and other forms of media. Our Growth is your growth as well. The
more the general public begins to relate with one name for a particular product,
(in this case Kickboxing) the better. Just look at any well known "Name
Brand" products you buy yourself. Many times, a customer like yourself will
ask for them and not necessarily want the brand they ask for, but the product
itself. Such as instead of soda, some may say, get us a Coke. This is good for
the CocaCola Company because most store clerks will direct the customer to the
CocaCola Brand which in many cases the customer will buy... increasing CocaCola
sales. So from this day forward, lets brand the sport of Kickboxing - SAY...IKF Kickboxing!
Finally, millions of
people around the world love and enjoy the sport of Kickboxing! Be proud of what
you do! Let the world know that you are proud to be a part of the IKF, the
Largest kickboxing Sanctioning Body in the World for
the sport of Kickboxing and the IKF Nationals, the
Largest Amateur Kickboxing Tournament in the United States! Let them know
that the sport you love deserves to be in the spotlight and in the mainstream of
